Heffernan Insurance Brokers Announces Allison Parshall as Manager of InsureMyEquipment.com
SAN FRANCISCO, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Heffernan Insurance Brokers, one of the largest independent brokerage firms in the United States, announces today that Allison Parshall is the new manager of InsureMyEquipment.com. This online insurance product streamlines the previously time-consuming, manual process of providing rental insurance to the production industry.
Camera operators, lighting stage hands and sound technicians must show a certificate of insurance before they can rent equipment for their next gig at rental houses. In 2009 alone, Heffernan Insurance Brokers sold 325 online equipment rental insurance policies valued at approximately $480,000.
"People tend to wait until the last minute to get the paperwork they need and InsureMyEquipment.com is a legitimate and fast way for them to obtain it. Our customers have been so happy with the speed, price and ease of it," says Jeff Jackson, floor manager at Birns and Sawyer in Hollywood.
Parshall will demonstrate the easy, time-saving benefits of using InsureMyEquipment.com at Live Design Institute's premier tradeshow for lighting designers, sound mixers, technical directors, theater consultants, and production staging crew members. Heffernan Insurance Brokers will be one of the exhibitors at the 2010 LDI Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center from October 18-24, 2010.
Parshall is an Account Manager Assistant and has worked at the Orange County branch of Heffernan Insurance Brokers for the last three years. She earned her bachelor's degree in social work at James Madison University in Virginia. The mother of three, Parshall says, "The family-friendly environment at Heffernan makes this one of the best places to work in Southern California for working mothers."
