Sammons names Tyler Brown new government affairs director
Sammons® Financial Group, Inc. has named Tyler Brown to the role of director, Government Affairs. In this strategic role, Brown will report into the company’s Legal department and have primary responsibility for all state and federal government relations for Sammons Financial Group.
In that capacity, Brown will manage communications with regulators and legislators on behalf of the company, and coordinate and develop government affairs strategy. Additionally, Brown will define and implement outreach to key trade groups on issues important to Sammons Financial Group. He assumes his new role on August 16, 2022.

Brown joined Sammons Financial Group in June 2021 following more than six years in the Washington, D.C. office of Senator Joni Ernst (R – Iowa), where he served as the Senator’s economic policy advisor.
