Deborah "Debbie" Hill joins as office coordinator bringing a decade of experience working for a large insurance defense firm.

Highland Roofing Company master technicians

Highland Roofing Company, located in Wilmington, has named Alex Mendez, Luis Martinez, Jeff Grebos and John Persons as master technicians.

The newly-formed master technician program was created to reward top skill level technicians with additional performance-based compensation for outstanding service, quality control, and work to train new technicians.

Persons and Martinez each have more than 25 years of commercial roofing experience, and Grebos and Mendez each have over 15 years.

Real estate veteran joins Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage

Real estate veteran Amber J. Johnson joins Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage to its midtown office.

Johnson is an experienced top-producing agent who has consistently worked to refine her skills. She has earned multiple education-based real estate designations and is a North Carolina real estate instructor. She has also earned a degree in paralegal studies and the Real Estate Negotiation Expert certification.

Johnson also completed an advanced curriculum to earn the Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource certification, At Home with Diversity certification, and Performance Management Network designation, awarded by the Women's Council of Realtors for training in leadership and business development. She has a long track record of service to the real estate profession, having served in a volunteer capacity on the professional development, government affairs, diversity, equity and inclusion, and professional standards committees.

When not spending time with family, which includes her husband Darrin and son Liam, Johnson likes going to the beach, kayaking and camping. She also enjoys painting and forming new creations in her pottery studio.

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage agent selected to leadership academy

Mark Lindsey, an agent with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage at the Calabash office, and a member of the Home Shepherds real estate team, was recently selected to the 2023 Class of the NC Realtors' William C. Bass Leadership Academy.

The 10-month training and development program is exclusively for NC Realtors and seeks to identify, inspire and mentor emerging leaders in real estate. Participants are guided through their own self-discovery process and learn skills and useful tools to further become a positive influence and leader within their community and the industry.

The 2023 class is composed of 12 realtors from various associations that geographically represent the majority of the state.
