RIO GRANDA CITY, Texas, Nov. 19 -- Rio Grande City Economic Development Corp. issued the following news release:
The Rio Grande City EDC congratulates the Allstate Ramirez-Meda Insurance Agency on their grand opening held on Saturday, November 19th.
The agency serves both private and business clients, and coverage includes auto and homeowners' products, renters' insurance, small businesses, life insurance, pet insurance, boats, motorcycles, and RVs. Nationwide, Allstate serves 16 million households and has more than 32,000 employees, according to its website.
"I look forward to doing business and serving the community of Rio Grande City. My mission is to help customers make informed decisions on all or any insurance needs and to give back to the community," Mr. Meda said. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Along with Mr. Ramirez-Meda, three other employees make up the staff at Allstate RamirezMeda Insurance Agency, for a combined 50 years of experience.
"It is great to see new businesses open in Rio Grande City. I would like to congratulate and thank Mr. Ramirez-Meda for bringing his business and helping make our beautiful city prosper," said Mayor Joel Villarreal.
