Lockton Expanding in Florida with Experienced Executives

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton is adding three new executives to its Florida operations, expanding its capabilities for clients in employee benefits, risk management, and insurance. Michael Meredith, Miguel (Mickey) Molet, and Teri Fuentes will each join Lockton effective November 3, the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker.

Meredith has been named an Executive Vice President while Molet and Fuentes have been named Senior Vice Presidents.

"Mike, Mickey, and Teri are respected professionals who share our passion for delivering client solutions," said Doug Hutcherson, President of Lockton's Southeast US operations. "They will play important roles in the continued growth of our employee benefits and risk management consulting business in the region."

Mike Meredith, Executive Vice President, will operate from new Lockton offices in Tampa and Naples, advising clients on employee benefit strategy, program structure, and best practices in attracting and retaining talent. He is an experienced employee benefits advisor with nearly three decades of working with both corporate clients and municipalities. He was most recently an Executive Vice President at Willis Towers Watson where he led the employee benefits practice for South Florida.

Mickey Molet, Senior Vice President, will work from Lockton's new Miami office and advise clients in property-casualty insurance, risk management, and employee benefits. He has an extensive background in construction risks and working with complex commercial clients in other industries. Molet has 20+ years of industry experience with Willis Towers Watson, Liberty Mutual, and Prudential.

Teri Fuentes, Senior Vice President, will also be based in Lockton's new Miami office, focused on consulting with clients on health and welfare programs including broad-based cafeteria benefit programs and consumer-driven healthcare. She works with a wide array of firms from mid-sized companies to employers with more than 10,000 employees. She has previously worked with Willis Towers Watson, CBIZ, and Aon during her career of more than 20 years.
