Jim Langley: Looking at Life's 'Ifs' and Inevitable 'When'
Through the years, I've experienced a fair share of "ifs" in my life. And, I know the inevitable "when" will catch up with me one of these days!
State insurance laws require drivers to carry minimum coverage on all our vehicles. Sadly, many these days are driving without insurance; therefore, we'd be wise to include an uninsured motorist rider on our policies.
For that reason, auto insurance rates are exceptionally high in
We all face many "ifs" in life. On a personal note, I've been disabled, utilized earthquake insurance more than 50 years ago, and have been involved in my share of fender benders over the past 60 years.
During my life and health insurance career, I've processed a number of disability claims, long-term care claims and more than 100 death claims! I guess that gives me some ammunition to discuss the risks we all face in life.
Prior to entering the profession in 1983, I also spent a few years specializing in benefits management for several large

After accepting Christ as my Savior and my Lord in 1984, my eyes were finally opened and these words of Solomon made perfect sense.
I've seen the value of life insurance again and again over the past 40 years. So, let's address the inevitable "when" that we will all face sooner or later.
There's an insurance I hope you will consider, if you have not already done so. The good news is the price has already been paid by God's only Son on that cross on Calvary nearly 2,000 years ago.
Sadly, many good men and women have walked away from this gift through the centuries.
There's no need to sign a contract. All you must do is accept the gift of salvation available to all. God loves you so much that He sent His Son to the cross to die for our sin and, once accepted, the contract will continue eternally!
God's prophetic Word speaks of Christ's imminent return. Just imagine meeting Him in the air and not having to face death.
That's the inevitable "when" we may well face one of these days very soon!
