WAUSEON — The Fulton County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday and certified the County Auditor's estimates of tax rates necessary to be levied by the board.
Commissioners reviewed the dog warden reports for the weeks of Aug. 27 and Sept. 3. During that period, 23 stray dogs were picked up and six stray dogs were brought in. Fees collected totaled $360.
For the Ohio Department of Development's Brownfield Remediation Program and Demolition and Site Revitalization Program, commissioners submitted a letter of intent recommending a lead entity.
Commissioners also:
Approved renewal rates with Anthem Life Insurance at ($1,000) 0.02 for accidental death and dismemberment insurance and ($1,000) 0.15 for group term life insurance for the 2024 calendar year.Removed a parcel from the list of delinquent water accounts of Northeast Water System after full payment was received.Entered an executive session to conduct an audit conference.
