Evercare, Leading Healthcare Platform, Appoints New CEO

2019 OCT 30 (NewsRx) -- By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Hospital & Nursing Home Daily -- Evercare, a healthcare delivery platform that operates hospitals, clinics and diagnostic facilities across Africa and South Asia, announced the appointment of Massimiliano (Max) Colella as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2020. Mr. Colella will continue to strengthen Evercare’s leadership position by driving growth and operational excellence at existing facilities, leveraging technology to improve the delivery and cost of healthcare, bringing projects in development to market, and searching for new and complementary investments.

Mr. Colella has over 27 years of experience in the medical device industry. He joins Evercare from Smith & Nephew, a leading medical technology company, where he was President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and previously served as Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets.

Prior to that, Mr. Colella spent 21 years at Johnson & Johnson in a number of national and international roles in Europe and Emerging Markets within the Ethicon and DePuy Synthes franchises.
