ClaimRemedi Partners with Covivitas to Offer Clients Advanced Medicaid Eligibility Verification

PR Web

Santa Rosa, CA (PRWEB) August 26, 2015

ClaimRemedi, an industry leading claims clearinghouse, today announced the company is teaming up with Covivitas, a leading healthcare IT innovator, to offer healthcare provider offices an advanced solution for Medicaid eligibility verification.

The eChecker solution helps billing offices manage eligibility processing and recover outstanding claim revenue by running a fully automated process to check patients' retroactive Medicaid eligibility information.

Covivitas developed eChecker in 2003 and since then has been helping clients retroactively verify Medicaid coverage, but on a limited scale. ClaimRemedi has previously been unable to formally offer clients a comprehensive Medicaid eligibility verification system. So, the partnership allows eChecker, the only solution of its kind on the market, to help a much larger number of provider offices.

"We were eager to partner with Covivitas because we saw a great opportunity to provide our existing and future clients with an innovative solution," said Anthony Lancia, vice president of sales at ClaimRemedi. "With eChecker's automated, accurate, and verifiable reports, we know that twice a month, without additional data entry, our clients will be able to identify retroactively eligible Medicaid patients."

The solution uses multiple identifiers to verify eligibility on current patients, check accounts retroactively and even determine eligibility for patients the provider was unaware were enrolled in Medicaid. Through auto-generated reports, eChecker compares data from previous months, highlights changes in data and also identifies problem data such as out-of-county codes.

eChecker will be available to ClaimRemedi clients effective immediately.
