HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) _ Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. (AHL) on Wednesday reported a loss of $185.4 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of $3.25. Losses, adjusted for one-time items, were $3.14 per share.
The insurance and reinsurance company posted revenue of $577.1 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $275.7 million, or $5.22 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $2.52 billion.
Aspen Insurance shares have fallen 8 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 34 percent in the last 12 months.
