CHICAGO, Jan. 28 -- The University of Illinois at Chicago issued the following news release:
The Liautaud Graduate School of Business at the University of Illinois at Chicago is offering an accelerated MBA degree program to launch in May.
Students in the 12-month, full-time program will choose between two tracks: financial markets and risk management, or international management.
"This program will prepare students to seize today's most exciting opportunities and position themselves competitively in the global market," Shari Holmer Lewis, assistant dean of the UIC College of Business Administration.
The program is cohort-based, so students start and stay together in the program through graduation, affording them the opportunity to form lasting business and professional relationships.
In addition, each cohort will benefit from a large enrollment of students from Asian countries, who bring a cross-cultural perspective on some of the world's fastest growing economies.
Students may apply now for the May financial markets and risk management track through March 15. The application deadline for the August 2014 strategic and international business management track is June 15.
More information is at Business.uic.edu/cmba. Candidates apply through the Liautaud Graduate School of Business. Candidates should contact Caroline La Torre, director of recruiting and enrollment, at [email protected] or (312) 996-4573.
