RSA Appoints New Construction & Engineering Portfolio Leader within Global Speciality Lines

LONDON, July 24 -- RSA Group issued the following news release:

Leading global insurer, RSA, has appointed Clive Harrington-Rutterford as Global Portfolio Leader for its Construction & Engineering (C&E) business.

In his new role, Clive will be responsible for leading and developing the Construction & Engineering portfolios across RSA's global operations.

Clive has spent the past five years establishing RSA's Latin American Marine and Speciality businesses.

Steve Kingshott, Global Director, C&E and Renewable Energy GSL, said:

"Clive has a wealth of experience and a real understanding of managing portfolios internationally, which makes him a particularly strong addition to the team. I look forward to working closely with Clive as we develop our Construction & Engineering portfolio into a market leading global proposition."

Commenting on his new role, Clive said:

Launched in autumn 2011, GSL brings together RSA's speciality businesses to be able to work closer with international brokers, offer more consistent global programmes and drive strategic growth.
