April 18--The following individuals were recently lodged into the Harlan County Detention Center:

-- Tina Lynn Asher, 45, of Loyall, theft by unlawful taking under $500 (shoplifting), third-degree criminal mischief and contempt of court;

-- James D. Bailey, 24, of Harlan, careless driving, failure to wear seat belt, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and third-degree possession of a controlled substance;

-- Jamie R. Brackett, 27, of Harlan, failure to appear;

-- Margaret Ann Brock, 49, of Wallins, failure to appear and theft by unlawful taking under $500 (shoplifting);

-- John Burke, 37, of Cumberland, illegal take/pursue of any bear;

-- Kevin Bradley Burkhart, 28, of Evarts, no registration plates, no registration receipt, failure of owner to maintain proper insurance, failure to produce insurance card, obstructed vision and or windshield, failure to wear seat belt, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and non payment of fines;

-- Brandon M. Carr, 31, of Oxford, Ohio, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

-- Gregory Cornett, 40, of Loyall, receiving stolen property under $500;

-- Joshua Dunson, 34, of Lynch, theft by unlawful taking under $500, third-degree criminal trespassing and theft by deception including cold checks under $500;

-- Timothy Edens, 26, of Wallins, possession of marijuana and non payment of fines;

-- David Lee Ellis, 53, of Cumberland, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to wear seat belt and third-degree criminal trespassing;

-- Jamie Darlene Ellison, 31, of Harlan, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and non-payment of fines;

-- Timothy Lynn Engle, 22, of Cawood, non payment of fines;

-- John Goddard, 36, of Evarts, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs;

-- Gerald B. Harris, 43, of Harlan, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, improper turning, failure to wear seat belt and obstructing a highway;

-- Courtney D. Hensley, 24, of Baxter, failure to appear;

-- Brandon Holbrook, 20, of Baxter, failure to appear;

-- Jimmy Holbrook, 22, of Wallins, failure to appear;

-- Harmie Joe Holbrook, 40, of Dayhoit, fourth-degree assault;

-- Edwin D. Kinder, 36, of Loyall, fourth-degree assault;

-- Jody Keith Lewis, 37, of Smilax, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating vehicle with expired license, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle, criminal littering and failure to notify address change to department of transportation;

-- Jeffery Allen Lucas, 23, of Baxter, failure to appear;

-- Amanda Lea Maggard, 24, of Lexington, theft by unlawful taking under $500 (shoplifting);

-- Michael Nathan Meyers, 33, of Harlan, theft by unlawful taking under $500 (shoplifting);

-- Robert Pace, 23, of Gulston, non payment of fines;

-- Brittany Marylyn Page Pennington, 22, of Lynch, theft by unlawful taking under $500 (shoplifting);

-- Bryan C. Robbins, 36, of LeJunior, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, prescription controlled substance not in proper container, operating on a suspended or revoked operators license, no operators-moped license, failure to maintain required insurance, failure to produce insurance card and failure to appear;

-- Charity Elaine Saylor, 32, of Wallins, contempt of court;

-- Harold Leroy Skidmore, 43, of Cranks, non payment of fines;

-- David Ezra Wright, 38, of Baxter, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs;

-- Rachel Brock, 28, of Evarts, non-payment of fines;

-- Trenton Burkhart, 56, of Bledsoe, failure to appear;

-- Ashley C. Slusher, 28, of Harlan, contempt of court, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, failure to produce insurance card, no registration receipt, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, operating on a suspended or revoked operator's license and no operator/moped license;

-- Gary David Woodsby, 54, of Harlan, public intoxication by a controlled substance (excludes alcohol);

-- Robert Lee Caldwell, 41, of Pineville, non payment of fines and alcohol intoxication in a public place;

-- Sim York, 39, of Baxter, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
