Financial Advisor Raul Jacobs Offers Custom-Tailored Services To Ensure Women’s Financial Stability

PR Newswire Association LLC

LOS ANGELES, June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Raul Jacobs, Chicago-area financial advisor at Waddell & Reed, refreshes the traditional approach to financial planning with a customizable financial model that services a quickly growing, niche clientele: namely, widows and divorced women. Often, his clients have never handled their own finances and require a special degree of support managing newly inherited or acquired assets with a long-term goal of financial stability.

Jacobs first recognized this unmet need in the financial industry when a widow entered his office with a large stack of paperwork from previous investments. Her situation was reminiscent of his own mother's, who had become a widow when he was in his 20s. Led astray by her former advisor, his new client's investment options failed to offer a resilient, lasting strategy and left her vulnerable to inflation.

"This widow's previous financial advisor counseled her toward an investment strategy that would actually devalue her capital," said Jacobs. "Unfortunately, many women are forced into the same situation as this widow," he added.

Jacobs appreciates that women value financial simplicity and transparency, so he structures his clients' strategies with this in mind. To equip them for financial success, Jacobs works with his clients to create a custom plan with a managed account that his team rebalances annually to ensure it continues to align with the client's long-term goals.

With seven years of experience, Raul advises clients throughout the Chicago region, offering services in financial planning, investment account management, annuities, life insurance products and customizable 401Ks for small businesses.
