Ernst & Young LLP wins Pegasystems’ Excellence Award in customer experience

PR Newswire Association LLC

NEW YORK, June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ernst & Young LLP was honored this month with the Pega Excellence Award in Customer Experience by Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), a leading provider of business process management (BPM) and customer relationship management (CRM) software solutions, at PegaWORLD 2014.

Building a better working world logo.

This program commends Pegasystems' alliance organizations for their ability to work with Pega to help achieve customer success. Organizations recognized have helped improve overall customers' experience and internal efficiencies for greater business productivity and innovation.

The firm's award, which was presented to its financial services organization, underscores a successful relationship with Pegasystems on a business transformation project at a global payment processor. The engagement helped the institution modify its service offerings to shorten time-to-market, increase revenue streams, enhance operational efficiencies and improve customer satisfaction.

"This recognition demonstrates how our BPM practice is working hand-in-hand with its clients to provide leading-edge transformative technical solutions," said Bill Dow, Principal, Financial Services, Ernst & Young LLP and former CEO of BPM Specialists, Inc. (BPMS).

The organization obtained immediate market share as a top Pega services provider globally after BPMS recently joined EY. The combination is part of EY's long-term strategy to continue to grow its integrated performance improvement, risk consulting and business transformation services. These offerings assist clients in streamlining and strengthening business processes and the management of operational risk in order to improve overall efficiency, cost savings and competitive advantage.

"We are pleased to be acknowledged for the achievements of our practice professionals and the work we have been entrusted to do on behalf of our clients," said Hank Prybylski, Advisory Leader, Financial Services, Ernst & Young LLP, and EY Global Financial Risk Management lead, Ernst & Young LLP. "Our team brings deep industry knowledge and, when demanded, experience of Pegasystems' software to a project in order to help improve business processes. This award highlights our ongoing dedication to meeting the needs of the sectors we support and providing exceptional client service."
