Chartis Forms Marketing Alliance with PowerGuardTM Specialty Insurance Services for Wind and Solar Energy Sectors
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Chartis today announced the formation of a marketing alliance between its Global Marine and Energy Division and PowerGuardTM Specialty Insurance Services. The alliance will leverage Global Marine and Energy’s leadership in the renewable energy sector worldwide – including underwriting, loss control and claims expertise for property, cargo and casualty coverages – with PowerGuard’s warranty product underwriting expertise to offer solutions for the entire value chain within the wind and solar segments.
The alliance can provide $400 million in property capacity as well as comprehensive multi-line insurance solutions for OEMs, project developers and power generation operators.
