Francis X. Frantz of Ponte Vedra Beach was named chairman of a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) to be formed through the spinoff of certain network assets from Windstream, a provider of advanced network communications headquartered in Little Rock, Ark. Frantz has been a director of Windstream since 2006 and was chairman of the board from July 2006 to February 2010.

Rob Labenski is the new managing partner of KPMG'sJacksonville office. He is also leader of KPMG's Real Estate Audit practice for the Southeast region. He joined the firm in 1987 and was named a partner in 2000. Labenski succeeds Travis Storey, who will retire at the end of September after a 37-year career in public accounting.
