360training.com Partners with Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) and Introduces Online Industrial Distribution Training
The new Industrial Distribution Training courses are designed for individuals and companies involved in the wholesale and general distribution of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and roofing materials. Drawing on TEEX and Texas A&M’s expertise and extensive experience, the “Distribution Online Series” covers primary supply chain concepts: working with manufacturers, understanding distributor operations, solution-based selling, and quality management. The courses demonstrate application of the concepts through real-life examples.
“We’re launching these industrial distribution courses, specially developed by TEEX, to enable individuals and companies to capitalize on their existing supply chain and consumer networks in the construction industry,” says
The 4-course program includes: Introduction to Distribution (Overview of the distribution industry and functions: Sales, Operations, Finance, and Technology); Principles of Distribution Sales (Overview of the solution selling process: identifying prospects, getting appointments, interacting with customers, closing the sale, and starting your relationship with the client); Quality Processes (Defining quality, a history of the US quality movement, and the importance of measuring, improving, and ensuring quality across the supply chain); and Manufacturer-Distributor Relationships (Measuring and managing communication, trust, and commitment to improve supply chain relationships).
360training.com’s new industrial distribution training offering is available on a per-course basis or as a bundled package. For more information, visit: http://www.360training.com/corporate-solutions/industrialskills/.
