Western General Announces the Hiring of Tricia English, ACAS, as Chief Actuary

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- Western General Insurance Company, a writer of Private Passenger Auto Insurance, is excited to announce the hiring of Tricia English, ACAS, as the Company's Chief Actuary. Ms. English's responsibilities will include managing Western General's pricing and reserving for all states and all products.

Before joining Western General, Ms. English was a Consulting Actuary with Perr Knight for over 15 years. Prior to that she was with Amwest Insurance Group as their Associate Actuary. Ms. English is an Associate with the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. "Tricia is an actuary with a business focus who has helped her clients navigate the regulatory waters very well in the past and we are lucky to have her on our team," said Ms. Tyson.
