“All WashU Medicine physicians participate in UnitedHealthcare (UHC) individual and family plans offered on Healthcare.gov in
“UHC is responsible for updating Healthcare.gov to ensure that WashU Medicine physicians are accurately listed,” Shamshad said.
“We are in the process of updating our directories accordingly, which will then be shared ... to update Healthcare.gov,” he said.
“All BJC hospitals, including
Individual marketplace plans sold on Healthcare.gov can be purchased by consumers who aren’t covered through their employer or programs such as Medicaid and Medicare.
UnitedHealthcare is the only marketplace insurer for 2026 with BJC in its coverage network.
The agreement replaces a two-year partnership between BJC and
