Sen. Tuberville Introduces Bill on Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 -- Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., has introduced legislation (S. 2794) to "amend title 38, U.S. Code, to increase automatic maximum coverage under the Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance program and the Veterans' Group Life Insurance program."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 22 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., Rick Scott, R-Fla., Mike Braun, R-Ind., John Barrasso, R-Wyo., and Cynthia M. Lummis, R-Wyo. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
