RSA Champions Training and Upskilling in BIBA and ITN Initiative

LONDON, England, May 17 -- RSA Insurance Group issued the following news release:

RSA, one of the largest UK commercial insurers, is proud to be part of a news and current affairs style programme produced by the British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA) in partnership with ITN Productions called De-risking the Future.

Launched today (Wednesday 16 May) at the opening of the BIBA conference in Manchester, the programme explores the relationships between insurance brokers, insurers and customers, at a time when new risks, new technologies and the shared economy are creating unprecedented disruption and change.

De-risking the Future features industry interviews and news-style reports along with sponsored editorial profiles including RSA, and is hosted by national newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky.

It will be extensively used by BIBA to shine a light on how the insurance sector is responding to the changing environment in order to better serve commercial and personal lines customers. It will feature on the association's website for 12 months and will be supported by a social media campaign.

RSA's section of the programme focuses on why it is investing in the future of the insurance industry through training and development programmes offered to brokers and partners in order to upskill and strengthen partnerships. It features interviews with brokers who took part in RSA's most recent Broker Leader Programme alongside RSA's Terry Dyson, business development director, and Michelle Taylor, strategic account director.
