Jul. 17—Q: Our association is having a problem with our insurance carrier regarding a repair which they are responsible for under our policy.
The carrier is saying that they are only responsible to provide coverage for repairs and replacements with comparable material, and it is not responsible for providing repairs and replacements that would affect the appearance of the property. We are about to hire a lawyer, but what do you think our response should be and is it worth pursuing?
