Rep. Long Introduces Bill on Access to Licensed Independent Insurance Producers

WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 -- Rep. Billy Long, R-Mo., has introduced legislation (H.R. 4575) to amend title XXVII of the Public Health Service Act "to preserve consumer and employer access to licensed independent insurance producers."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 6 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Kurt Schrader, D-Ore. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
