Pontotoc County Junior Livestock Show needs your help [The Ada News, Okla.]
Dec. 23—The Pontotoc County Junior Livestock Show Board of Directors is asking for sponsors for the 2024 Pontotoc County Junior Livestock Show and Premium Sale.
—Livestock show expenses ranging from awards, judges, liability insurance, night security, and necessity supplies for the show.
—A range of new promotional products that the kids will earn and get to carry around to also provide some advertisement for those that contributed.
—New this year, the organization will have a professional photographer at the show taking ring shot photos and parents, grandparents, and exhibitors will be able to download free digital downloads of their kids.
"We just want to get the word out," Cooper said Wednesday, "to individuals or businesses in the community who might want to contribute, but didn't know how, or if it was even possible."
Cooper added that support for the event has waned in recent years.
"The premium sale and livestock auction is a big deal," Cooper continued. "The kids spend a lot of time all year on the animals. It teaches them so much. So we really just want to try to get the word out. I feel like there are a lot of people who would love to contribute to bringing it back to life, but may not know about it or might not know how to contribute."
