Animals
Gaylord Avenue: A great Dane was loose around 8:20 a.m. Monday.
Marietta Lane: A woman reported a white dog was chasing her chickens around 8:40 a.m. Monday.
SR 36W: A husky was loose around 2 p.m. Monday.
Arrests
Robert Michael Burden: 33, of Red Bluff was arrested Monday and charged with insurance fraud. No bail was set.
Zachary Michael Hoffman: 38, of Red Bluff was arrested Monday and charged with carrying a dirk or dagger. No bail was set.
Disturbances
Live Oak Road: A woman reported an acquaintance kicked in her door and caused a disturbance around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Antelope Boulevard: A restaurant reported around 2:30 p.m. Monday a customer the night before verbally abused staff and complained about his food. The customer had just called to say he was coming in to get his money back.
Suspicious
Evelyn Street: A woman reported around noon Monday somebody is entering her home when she is out.
Treasure Drive: A woman reported around 12:50 p.m. Monday a man with shaggy blond hair, olive green jacket and jeans, carrying a small bottle of dish washing liquid said he worked for Kirby, but when she opened the door he was leaning over a delivered package and she believed he was trying to steal it.
Marguerite Avenue: Marijuana with a suspicious white substance on it was confiscated from a student around 1 p.m. Monday at Maywood Middle School.
South Jackson Street: A blue or gray Toyota Corolla was circling the parking lot of the Red Bluff Community Center for an hour around 4 p.m. Monday.
Alta Vista Court: A man reported a window screen pried open around 4:30 p.m. Monday and believed somebody may be inside his home.
Thefts
Redbud Avenue: Two buses were reported broken into around 5:20 a.m. Monday at the Red Bluff High School bus and maintenance yard. The incident was captured on video surveillance.
Lake Avenue: A man and woman were caught stealing items at Durango RV Park around 6:30 a.m. Monday and when they were chased off the man brandished a knife.
Washington Street: A benefit card mailed to a former address in Sacramento was activated and used there around 8:30 a.m. Monday.
99W near Fig Lane: A large amount of lumber was reported stolen from a construction site around 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Antelope Boulevard: A party at Denny’s left without paying its bill around 10:50 a.m. Monday.
F Street, Tehama: A catalytic converter was reported stolen around 3 p.m. Monday.
