Gainesville Criminal Defense Lawyer Elected President of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Chapter of the FACDL
<p><location value="LU/us.fl.gaille" idsrc="xmltag.org">Gainesville, Florida</location> (PRWEB) <chron>September 27, 2011</chron></p><p>Criminal defense lawyer Dean Galigani of the Galigani Law Firm in <location value="LU/us.fl.gaille" idsrc="xmltag.org">Gainesville, Florida</location> was elected to serve as the president of the Eighth Judicial Circuit chapter of the <org>Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers</org> (FACDL) for the upcoming 2011-2012 term.</p><p>Galigani has been a member of the FACDL since being admitted to the <org value="ACORN:1548108253" idsrc="xmltag.org">Florida Bar</org> in 1990. After being nominated for the position, Galigani was elected president on <chron>September 16</chron> without opposition.</p><p>“I am supremely honored to be nominated and elected for this position. It will be a great honor to serve the <org>Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers</org> and represent this charitable organization’s efforts to the best of my ability throughout the upcoming term,” said Dean Galigani, a <a href="http://www.galiganilaw.com/"><location value="LU/us.fl.gaille" idsrc="xmltag.org">Gainesville</location> criminal attorney</a>.</p><p>The FACDL is a non-profit organization that was created to pursue charitable, scientific and educational purposes, and is the only statewide organization in North Central Florida dedicated to criminal defense attorneys. The FACDL’s mission is to represent the criminal defense community in <location value="LS/us.fl" idsrc="xmltag.org">Florida</location>, promote excellence in the practice of criminal law, improve the criminal justice system throughout all levels of government, insure the integrity and independence of criminal defense lawyers and promote the protection of the rights of all individuals.</p><p>The duties of the president of the Eighth Judicial Circuit branch of the FACDL are to organize monthly meetings with local members of the FACDL, plan charitable events and recognize criminal defense attorneys throughout the Eighth Judicial Circuit for their hard work in the legal community.</p><p>Galigani has extensive trial knowledge and possesses over 20 years of experience defending individuals charged with <location value="LS/us.fl" idsrc="xmltag.org">Florida</location> state and federal crimes.
