Norwood Insurance Group Launches Charity Drive to Benefit Mark Hammonds, a Local Husband and Father Facing Life Threatening Injuries

Norwood Insurance Group, a Texas-based insurance firm serving hundreds of families and businesses throughout the Dallas County area, is announcing a charity drive intended to benefit Mark Hammonds, a local man who suffered a severe head injury and is now fighting for his life in the hospital.

On Thanksgiving morning, Dr. Mark Hammonds (father of Hayden, Hunter, and Halston Hammonds; husband of Jill Hammonds) accidentally fell and suffered a severe blow to the head. He has been in the ICU at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth since November 26th 2015.

"Mark has been an important part of his community for a very long time, and the funds raised from this charity drive will allow his family to spend time with him and aid in his recovery," says Wes Norwood, founder and manager of Norwood Insurance Group.

Norwood has mobilized his agency in an effort to help publicize the charity drive. The Norwood team is building a social media page and implementing an email awareness campaign to gather support from local families.
