MHS Announces Anticipated Participation on 2018 Health Insurance Marketplace in Indiana

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Managed Care Weekly Digest -- Managed Health Services (MHS) announced its commitment to continue offering its Health Insurance Marketplace product, Ambetter, in Indiana for 2018. MHS has planned to expand in 17 new counties for 2018, including Indiana's last remaining "bare county," Wayne County (see also MHS).
"We are committed to partnering with the State and policymakers to collaborate on actions that stabilize the market and offer affordable coverage options for Hoosiers," said Kevin O'Toole, President and CEO of MHS.
MHS has been serving Hoosiers since 1995 and currently serves 340,000 Medicaid and Health Insurance Marketplace members. MHS' parent company, Centene Corporation, previously announced its commitment to participating on the 2018 Health Insurance Marketplace in Indiana and is currently working through the regulatory process.
