Mango, Wagner Stay Silent While President Trump Sabotages Health Care for Millions of Pennsylvanians

HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 12 -- The Pennsylvania Democratic Party issued the following news:

This morning, Donald Trump signed an executive order that sabotages insurance markets and will put health care for millions of Pennsylvania's in jeopardy and strip protections from people with pre-existing conditions. Meanwhile, so-called health care expert Paul Mango and Scott Wagner are staying silent and refusing to stand up for Pennsylvanians.

"Once again, so-called health care expert Paul Mango and Scott Wagner are proving that they want Pennsylvanians' premiums to rise, protections for people with pre-existing conditions to be eliminated, care for seniors in nursing homes to be dropped, and health insurance coverage to be reduced," said Beth Melena, communications director for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. "Instead of putting the health and well-being of Pennsylvanians first, Paul Mango and Scott Wagner are choosing to put partisan politics ahead of doing what is right."
