Kemper Announces 12% Increase to Quarterly Dividend

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KMPR) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared an increase in the company’s quarterly dividend to $0.28 per share, or an increase of 12% from the previous quarterly dividend. The dividend is payable on December 4, 2019 to its shareholders of record as of November 18, 2019.

The new quarterly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $1.12 per share as compared to the current annualized dividend amount of $1.00 per share. Coupled with the 4% increase in February of this year, the total annualized 2019 increase in the dividend is 17%.
