Arlene Dudeck, a partner at Sahlaney & Dudeck Law Office in Johnstown, was presented with the fifth annual Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Solo and Small Firm Section Award during the association's Annual Meeting on May 10 in Hershey.
The award honors an individual lawyer who, or law firm that, has enhanced the professional reputations and abilities of solo and small firm attorneys in Pennsylvania.
Dudeck is receiving the award for her dedication to the Solo and Small Firm Section--more specifically for her willingness to take on new section projects and for the creativity that she brings to the membership newsletter.

She previously served as a delegate representing PBA members from Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset counties. Dudeck also belongs to the Cambria County Bar Association and is a past member of its Board of Managers.
At Sahlaney & Dudeck, her practice focuses on commercial real estate and transactions, estate planning and estate administration. Prior to starting the firm, Dudeck served as in-house counsel at George D. Zamias Developer, now Zamias Services, Inc., a nationally known shopping mall developer.
Dudeck graduated from Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
