FORT WORTH, Texas, July 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Higginbotham and Sellers-Patterson Insurance announced today the merger of their operations in Tyler, Texas. Sellers-Patterson, led by Linda Sellers, is Higginbotham's second office in Tyler; the first established in 2014 when Higginbotham entered the market. The union gives the combined firm a local workforce of 16 serving businesses and families in northeast Texas.

Sellers-Patterson, an employee benefits and individual health insurance broker, will draw on Higginbotham's property/casualty insurance capabilities to expand its service portfolio.
