FirstCare Health Plans Names New VP of Operations

AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, officials at FirstCare Health Plans named Paul Marchant as the new vice president of operations.

Marchant is responsible for leadership of FirstCare's Health Plan Services teams at the organization's corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas, as well as operational oversight of member and provider Customer Service based in Lubbock, Texas.

Marchant brings more than 18 years of executive experience in commercial, Medicaid and Medicare program administration, including claims processing, system configuration and call center administration with him to FirstCare. He recently served as Vice President of National Claims Center Operations for CareCentrix in Tampa, Florida.

Marchant holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine, and is Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt certified. He will be based out of FirstCare's headquarters in Austin, Texas.
