DENVER, Dec. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton's Mountain West practice in Denver announced that Mike Roark has joined the firm as its Senior Vice President, Construction Practice Leader, adding to the already talented team of Colorado's leading insurance brokerage firm. Lockton Companies is the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker.

Roark has an extensive background in the insurance industry with a wealth of experience in the construction arena, coming to Lockton from the Moody Insurance Agency where he served for 13 years as an Executive Vice President. Previously he served as Large Construction Account Underwriter and Marketing Representative for Travelers Insurance in the western states. Roark was also an Underwriter for Aetna, specializing in Construction Risk Management and Insurance. He is a Certified Risk Manager, Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist, and a published author on issues confronting the construction industry.
