Executive Director Named for Eastside Health Alliance and Network – New Joint Venture of EvergreenHealth and Overlake Medical Center

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- David LaMarche was named Executive Director for Eastside Health Alliance (EHA) and Eastside Health Network (EHN), the new joint venture and clinically integrated network of Overlake Medical Center and EvergreenHealth announced in January 2017. LaMarche's career spans leadership roles in finance, managed care contracting, health care reform and clinical operations.

LaMarche is an experienced health care professional, with nearly 20 years of experience in managed care contracting, business development, finance and clinical operations. Most recently at Virginia Mason, LaMarche developed and expanded at-risk and population-based payment models with performance measures linked to risk-adjusted total cost of care and quality metrics. He also led strategic planning related to health care reform, reimbursement trends and new business opportunities.

In addition to creating the Eastside Health Network, LaMarche, along with the newly appointed Board of Directors for Eastside Health Alliance, will oversee collaboration in cardiac, neuroscience and thoracic surgery services, and the Coordinated Quality Program for sharing of safety and quality best practices.
