Affinion Insurance Solutions Wins Gold at 2017 PIMA Awards for its Digital Marketing Campaign

The company's personalized video marketing strategy earned the Gold award in the E-Commerce Website category and the company's direct-to-consumer Information Package won the Bronze award in the Single Channel Marketing category. The PIMA Marketing Methods Competition presented awards for direct marketing efforts that produce measurable results and display best-in-class creative strategies.

The E-Commerce Website category recognized web-based enrollment promotions. Affinion's award-winning entry was an email campaign, in conjunction with Allied Solutions, targeted at active members of credit unions with marketable email addresses. The marketing campaign utilized a strategy of deploying a series of three emails, featuring high-touch and high-affinity member-personalized videos. This successful approach showcased Affinion's knowledge and experience with delivering top-rated products and partnering with highly rated carriers to fuel credit union growth.

The Single Channel Campaign category placed all strategy and creative emphasis on one marketing media to drive response. When creating the Information Package, Affinion focused on three key selling points to create a profitable direct-to-consumer mail campaign: powerful product positioning, ease of enrollment, and the insurance company's brand.

For over a decade PIMA's Marketing Methods competition has given over 100 member companies an opportunity to compete head-to-head and award those whose marketing results, strategy and creative execution set the industry standard. Entries were received this year from insurance third-party administrators, brokers, agencies, insurance companies, and support service providers.

Winners of PIMA Marketing Methods awards were determined by an independent panel of professionals from organizations that source, underwrite, and market insurance, including: Kelly Abeles of AIG; Angela Daisy of Value Group Direct; and Fred Hron of Forrest T. Jones & Company, Inc.
