Execupay Selects AP Intego As Exclusive In-App Provider of Pay As You Go Workers’ Comp Insurance

PR Newswire

SAN ANTONIO and WALTHAM, Mass., Jan. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Execupay, a trusted leader in payroll and HR Solutions, and AP Intego Insurance Group, a national technology-enabled small business insurance agency, are partnering to offer AP Intego's Pay As You Go (PAYG) Workers' Comp Insurance to Execupay's U.S. network of payroll providers and their clients. AP Intego's PAYG Workers' Comp insurance will be integrated with Execupay's PlatinumPay Xpress Payroll service. Execupay clients have seamless access to, the right workers' comp coverage at the right price for their businesses, while enabling accurate premium payments that significantly improve their cash flow.

Businesses sourcing insurance from payroll providers who license Execupay's software, now gain access to AP Intego's PAYG Workers' Comp insurance. The enhanced user experience includes:

  • Insurance quote requests are submitted and delivered directly from the Execupay platform, eliminating manual inquiries.
  • Payroll data is automatically uploaded from the Execupay platform to the AP Intego interface, enabling accurate PAYG billing processes.
  • Insurance purchase and premium payments are completed on one automated platform.

Driven by technology and innovation, Execupay is the largest privately owned provider of payroll and human capital management software for payroll service companies in the United States and provides payroll to over 1 million employees. With the company's PlatinumPay Xpress, small business customers get all the features of an enterprise payroll and HR solution, including the ability to run payroll in less than a minute, using their desktop, tablet or phone.

"We are excited to announce our partnership with AP Intego and the new integration of their Pay As You Go Workers' Comp with Execupay's payroll service platform. This service will free up time for our software licensees, allowing them to focus on other revenue generating activities," said Gerald Stowers, President of Execupay. "This collaboration reinforces our commitment to innovating and simplifying the administrative tasks of running a payroll service bureau."

AP Intego's PAYG Workers' Comp immediately addresses the tremendous pressure on a small business's cash flow. Premiums are calculated and billed using actual payroll data each time payroll is run, rather than from an annual estimated payroll. This frees up valuable cash throughout the year while making end-of-the-year workers' comp audits much easier.

"Our Pay As You Go Worker's Comp integration introduces innovative features to Execupay's PlatinumPay Xpress payroll customers," said Steve Hauck, Managing Director of AP Intego. "The seamless integration of workers' comp insurance significantly reduces the administrative complexities of buying, paying for and using insurance. Our partnership with Execupay expands AP Intego's commitment to making the small commercial insurance process faster and less complicated, so business owners can get the coverage they need, at the right price, when they need it."
