The following defendant saw the charges against them bound to the Court of Common Pleas:

Paula Graham, 39, of Pittsburgh, was charged with DUI, false identification and two summary traffic offenses on Sept. 11. State police received a report of an erratic driver traveling along Quaker Valley Road on Aug. 16 around 8:15 p.m. Police said the witness indicated it was a black Acura and it had pulled into the REI Distribution Center. The police had to knock on the driver's window to get her attention. Police said the faint odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emanating from Graham. Signs of impairment were reportedly observed during field sobriety tests. Graham reportedly provided the police with a false name that was returned to a younger family member. Graham did not consent to a blood draw. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.

The following defendants waived their right to a preliminary hearing:

Bradley M. Frye, 28, of Roaring Spring, was charged with two counts of felony receiving stolen property and misdemeanor receiving stolen property on Feb. 5. State police received a report of a burglary at a residence along Braillier Station Road in Hopewell Township on Feb. 2. The alleged victim reported that two of his motorcycles were taken from a trailer on the property. He alleged that he had multiple single JLG buckets and tools taken from the residence. The alleged victim reported that the two motorcycles, along with a lift bucket, were for sale on Facebook Marketplace by Frye. A search warrant for Frye's property returned the two motorcycles with the VINs the alleged victim had provided, two lift buckets and a chain belonging to the alleged victim.

Brian E. Miller, 58, of Claysburg, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property on Aug. 22. Bedford Borough police said the alleged victim, for the purchase of a motorcycle, gave Miller $200. Miller reportedly never delivered the motorcycle and did not return the money. Miller also faces a charge of false statements to induce agreement for home improvement in two cases. State police said the alleged victims paid Miller with two checks for two supplies to replace the roof of their church pavilion and the roof of their residence. The alleged victims reported the checks were cashed, but Miller did not return to replace the roofs or drop off the supplies. Bail was set in the false statement cases at $25,000 unsecured and $10,000 unsecured in the theft case.

Christina D. Lemin, 47, of Saxton, was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver, three counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana on Jan. 26. Saxton police received a report of Cody J. Bush, 28, of Saxton, having methamphetamine in his bedroom from his probation officer on Jan. 26. Bush reportedly lives in a residence along Church Street with Lemin. Police said four baggies of suspected meth, empty baggies, scales, a mirror with white residue, four vials of an unknown powdery substance, suspected meth and numerous smoking pipes were found in a room with papers identifying Lemin. The police said some of the items were consistent with selling drugs. A search of Bush's room reportedly returned a container with a large amount of suspected meth. Bush was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $150,000 for Lemin and $50,000 for Bush.

Jessica M. Showalter, 30, of Windber, was charged with two counts of felony insurance fraud and felony criminal attempt at theft by deception on Dec. 12. A special agent for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Insurance Fraud Section was assigned to a case with Showalter as the actor. The agent said Showalter reported that in January 2022, she slid on ice in her driveway, striking her residence along Summit Street in Everett. Her insurance company concluded the accident could not have happened as described after deeming the measurements between the damage to Showalter's vehicle and the residence. The agent said that conversations between Showalter and her boyfriend, who was incarcerated, returned Showalter telling her boyfriend she had filed a claim with her insurance and the story she was going to tell them. Showalter reportedly admitted to filing a false claim when interviewed. Bail was set at $50,000 unsecured.

Kurtis W. Mills, 37, of Clearville, was charged with a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 20. State police received a call that drugs were found in a residence along Secrest Park Road in East Providence Township on Aug. 28. The police said that the complainant had permission to be at the residence and when she entered the residence, she observed pills, marijuana, and other paraphernalia on the counter. A search warrant returned a small amount of marijuana, pipes containing marijuana, and a metal grinder near pill bottles labeled as belonging to Mills, according to police. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.

Logan Pembrooke, 27, of Saxton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 29. State police responded to a pizza shop in Saxton for the report of Pembrooke, who had active warrants, at the shop. Police said Pembrooke hid in the women's restroom before eventually exiting. Police said a used syringe was discovered in the trashcan, and Pembrooke related that he used the syringe for his suboxone. Bail was set at $15,000 unsecured.

Mark J. Smithmyer, Jr., 41, of Hyndman, was charged with simple assault and harassment on Feb. 2. State police responded to Bedford UPMC for the report of Smithmyer hitting the alleged victim in the face on Feb. 2. Police said the alleged victim reported she had been in a verbal argument with Smithmyer when he grabbed her by the back of the neck before throwing her to the floor. She alleged that Smithmyer held her on the ground and punched the sides of her head. Police said the alleged victim was observed to have two bruises on her face and dried blood near her nose and cheek. Bail was set at $50,000 unsecured.

Michael Garza, Jr., 21, of State College, was charged with a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two summary traffic offenses on Jan. 9. State police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Garza. Police said the odor of marijuana was detected emanating from inside the vehicle. Garza reportedly provided the police with a plastic bag containing a marijuana grinder and smoking devices. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.

Nathan E. Thomas, 44, of Shippensburg, was charged with DUI, endangering the welfare of children and four summary traffic offenses on Jan. 3. State police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Thomas along the 5800 block of the Lincoln Highway in Napier Township on Nov. 26 around 5:50 p.m. Police said the odor of a strong alcoholic beverage was detected emanating from Thomas. Tomas reportedly had bloodshot, watery eyes and seemed to be dazed. Police said a 14-year-old boy was in the front passenger seat. Signs of impairment were observed during field sobriety tests, according to the police. A blood test reportedly returned a BAC of 0.204%. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.

Russell E. Clark, 58, of Everett, was charged with firearm not to be carried without license at the felony and misdemeanor level, DUI, possession of a controlled substance, a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and summary offenses on Feb. 1. State police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Clark near the intersection of the Lincoln Highway and South Breezewood Road in East Providence Township on Jan. 31. Clark reportedly told police that he had a loaded hunting rifle. The police removed the rifle from the vehicle. A loaded Ruger SR1911 was also removed from the glove box, according to police. Clark reportedly had bloodshot, glassy eyes and admitted to consuming marijuana or THC earlier that day. Police said signs of impairment were observed during field sobriety tests. A search of the vehicle returned a baggie containing crystal meth, marijuana and a marijuana glass-smoking pipe. Bail was set at 10% of $15,000.

Wayne A. Redinger, 54, of Clearville, was charged with the sale or transfer of firearms and unsworn falsification to authorities on Jan. 23. Everett Borough police received a report that Redinger was involved with an attempted firearm transfer in October 2022. Police said that Redinger answered no to a question asking if he had ever been convicted of a crime carrying more than a year of imprisonment. Redinger reportedly has three DWI offenses in Maryland, which carried more than a year of imprisonment, according to police. Redinger was released on his own recognizance.
