BRIEF: NEW: Pine Bluffs has long road to rebuild after hail storm
Wyoming Tribune-Eagle (Cheyenne, WY)
Aug. 13--CHEYENNE -- Residents of Pine Bluffs are still working to rebuild after an historic hail storm battered the small eastern Laramie County town last month.
Local, county and state agencies that responded to the emergency met last week to discuss strengths and lessons learned and develop an after-action report, and the town is working on putting together a recovery committee.
A drive through town shows much work is still to be done.
Multiple windows on almost every house remain boarded up, siding is still ripped to shreds, roofers have begun roofing, and insurance adjusters are still adjusting.
The town also is working to quickly replace a large number of electric meters destroyed by the July 27 storm.
Residents are saying nothing like the storm has ever hit Pine Bluffs before.
