Bolton & Company’s Erin Powell Appointed to Assurex Global’s Board of Directors

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Independent California Insurance Brokerage Bolton & Company announced that Erin Powell, Vice President of Property & Casualty, has been appointed to Assurex Global’s Board of Directors.

Assurex, the world’s largest privately held commercial insurance, risk management and employee benefits brokerage group, appointed Erin to the board during its Global Conference in Paris.

Erin, who manages Bolton’s Property & Casualty business division, joins Assurex’s board with more than 20 years of insurance industry experience in both carrier and broker roles for the private and public sectors.

As Erin begins her three-year term on Assurex’s board of directors, she’s eager to take part in the conversations and decisions that will ultimately shape the future of the industry.

Erin joined Bolton in 2017 and today oversees the company’s Property & Casualty division, where she leads the service, claims consulting, and safety and health teams, while managing carrier relationships and supporting new business opportunities.

Prior to joining Bolton, Erin was Senior Vice President with Orion Risk Management. In roles prior, she led the Property & Casualty Practice group for Lemme, a division of Integro USA, and served as Vice President, Unit Manager, with Lockton Companies, co-leading the Law Firm Practice Group. Erin has been involved in various women in leadership organizations, and was one of the co-founders of Lockton’s Southern California Women in Leadership chapter.

Erin has led multiple mentoring and future leadership programs, and currently co-leads the producer training program at Bolton. She also participates in multiple carrier counsel committees and round tables, including Zurich, State Fund and Chubb. Erin is also an active member of Bolton’s nonprofit philanthropic arm, The Bolton Foundation.
