Bankers Financial Corporation Welcomes Mary Katherine McInnis and Kyle Menke to Board of Directors

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Bankers Financial Corporation (BFC), the St. Petersburg-based insurance, surety, and business solutions company, today announced Mary Katherine McInnis and Kyle Menke have been named to its Board of Directors.

McInnis has served with several global investment banking and financial consultancies, including Deloitte and Goldman Sachs, focusing on M&A strategy and execution, corporate strategy, enterprise cost reduction, digital strategy/mobile banking, and claims management. She has worked in the Financial Services, Consumer Products, and Retail industries and, most recently, in the field of education.

McInnis holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University. In 2016, she was recognized by the Financial Women's Association as one of 12 high performing women and emerging leaders within financial services nationally.

Menke is currently a Financial Advisor for Northwestern Mutual where he partners with clients to develop their holistic financial plan. He possesses a deep background in insurance and financial services, serving in several roles at BFC as well as multinational risk advisers, including Willis Re.

Menke was named to Northwestern Mutual's Top Under 5 Year Advisor List in the Southern Region in 2016 and was #3 on the list for Top Under 5 Year Advisors in the country during the 2016-17 fiscal year. He holds certifications and designations as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®). He also holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida.
