Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., one of the world's largest insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting firms, named Ascentra Credit Union a Best in-Class Employer for 2023 based on the results from their 2023 U.S. Benefits & Strategy Benchmarking Survey. Ascentra earns this award for standing out among other employers in nine different categories related to benefits and compensation, wellbeing, turnover rate, workforce engagement, human resources technology, health care costs, financial wellbeing, communications and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, according to a news release. Of more than 4,000 companies surveyed nationwide, 471 were selected and Ascentra was 1 of 36 credit unions named.
"Listening, caring, doing what's right is the mission statement of our credit union. It is ingrained in everything we do," Linda Andry, president and CEO, Ascentra Credit Union, said in the news release. "Investing in the financial, physical and emotional well-being of our employees provides an environment for our staff where they can learn, grow and further the people helping people mission of the credit union."
U.S.organizations are ranked based on answers to how companies support employees' physical, emotional, career and financial wellbeing, the release states.
