Arbella offers 20% discount on car insurance policies amid coronavirus outbreak, saving customers an average of $60 per vehicle

Arbella Insurance Group announced a program that will provide customers with a 20% discount on auto premiums for the next three months amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The “Here. For Good. Give Back Program” gives private passenger car insurance customers a 20% discount through June. The savings, Arbella said, would result in an estimated $60 per vehicle. The insurance group said customers with multiple vehicles on their policy could see even more savings.
Customers can expect to see the savings applied to their bill within the next 60 days. Arbella also announced previously that it won’t cancel any auto or other insurance policies for non-payment of premium from April 1 to June 1, and will not charge fees for late payments or insufficient funds.
The program applies to new customers as well. New policy holders must have purchased a private passenger auto policy prior to June 30, 2020.
“Arbella puts people first,” chairman, president and chief executive officer of Arbella Insurance Group John Donohue said in a statement. “We understand how difficult the current environment is for everyone, and we have all been impacted. Helping our customers and providing some financial relief just makes sense. I think the industry as a whole has stepped up to do the right thing for our customers.”
