Zurich appoints two new people for personal accident and business travel
Jan 29, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Zurich Financial Services Group has appointed Brian Armstrong as head of personal accident and business travel, and Steve Coleman as senior personal accident and business travel development underwriter for UK general insurance.
Mr Armstrong and Mr Coleman will take responsibility for personal accident (PA) and business travel (BT) immediately and over the next few months their key priority will be the creation of a market leading proposition within the company's broker division, said the company.
Roy Standish, city manager at Zurich Financial Services Group, said: "I am delighted to announce Brian and Steve's appointments. This is an exciting development as we close the gap in our product set within the UK general insurance business.
"Brian and Steve bring with them specialist knowledge and expertise. Both have an outstanding track record of delivery which will enable us to provide marketing leading products for our customers in this exciting market. They are currently working with the Zurich team to launch these innovative new products in the near future."
