WSSA Launches New Website for Wine and Spirits Importers and Distributors

Founded by the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) and the
Combining the total volume of its member shipments enables the association to deliver preferential rates and service from each of its carriers and vendors to WSSA’s member base. These rates, in turn, create opportunities for members to compete on a global scale in the wine and spirits marketplace.
WSSA has over 600 member companies who import on the wholesale level from all over the world. Its global footprint spans across all five continents and the association maintains strategically-located freight forwarding partnerships near the world’s busiest ports.
Members also benefit from WSSA’s comprehensive marine insurance program which covers wine and spirit shipments by sea, land, and air from anywhere in the world. WSSA handles most needs its members have including, Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments for new-to-market test products, rush shipments, reefer containers, etc. In addition, WSSA maintains a network of service providers in brokerage and warehousing, along with ocean, air, rail, and trucking transportation. The association makes international wine and spirits shipping possible, both financially and logistically.
The newly redesigned website contains essential industry tools and resources, including the ability to request quotes online, an exchange rate converter, weight and measurement converter, global temperature readings, an industry blog, and tools to help members operate their import businesses more efficiently. New members can find information on the benefits of joining WSSA and can enroll online.
WSSA membership is open to licensed importers of wine, spirits, beer, and other select beverages.
