UnitedHealth Group Purchases Minority Stake in Sedgwick Claims Management Services

MEMPHIS, Tenn. & MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 4, 2008--Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., (Sedgwick CMS), a leading provider of claims and productivity management solutions, and UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) today announced that UnitedHealth Group has purchased a minority interest in Fidelity Sedgwick Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Sedgwick CMS, from the principal shareholders of Fidelity Sedgwick Holdings. The parties to the transaction with UnitedHealth Group are Fidelity National Financial, Inc., (NYSE:FNF); Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P; and Evercore Partners (NYSE:EVR).
