Tom Rowe Joins Korn/Ferry as Senior Client Partner and Head of North American Insurance Practice

NEW YORK, Nov. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Tom Rowe has joined the Firm as a Senior Client Partner and Head of the North American Insurance Practice.  He will be based out of the Firm's New York office. 

Mr. Rowe joins Korn/Ferry from Heidrick & Struggles, where he specialized in the insurance industry, with a particular focus on property and casualty-focused organizations.  Throughout his nearly 30-year career, Mr. Rowe has held positions at several widely-regarded insurance organizations and assumed various leadership roles in the recruiting industry.    

Mr. Rowe's executive recruiting experience includes senior-level executive relationships at leading insurance companies, where he has identified talent needs and placed C-suite professionals in general management, finance, actuarial, underwriting, strategic marketing, distribution, information technology, claims and board positions.  He has extensive experience in recruiting professionals from the broader financial services arena to bring best practices to key functional areas within the insurance industry.

Previously, Mr. Rowe was the leader of the global Property & Casualty Practice and co-leader of the global Insurance Practice of Highland Partners. Prior to that, he was a managing director in Korn/Ferry International's Financial Services Practice, where he held various leadership roles in Global Insurance Practice. Before that, he held management positions with New York Life, Aetna Life & Casualty and Home Life Insurance Company.  He received a bachelor's degree from Lehigh University.
