Takayuki Murai Named CEO of Nippon Life Benefits

Nippon Life Benefits, one of the leading providers of employee benefit solutions, announced the appointment of Takayuki Murai as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Murai has worked for Nippon Life Group for more than 25 years. He has held domestic and international assignments in corporate finance, real estate investment and overseas business planning and operations including previous positions at Nippon Life Benefits as Vice President - Central Region, and Vice President - Corporate Planning. Most recently, he served as Deputy Chief Representative in the New York office of Nippon Life Insurance Company, the parent company of Nippon Life Benefits.

Murai succeeds outgoing President and CEO Toshihiro Nakashima, who will be rotating back to Nippon Life Insurance Company in Tokyo to serve as General Manager of International Investments Department.
