Stone & Youngberg Taps Paul R. Touchstone, CFA, to Head Firm’s Asset Management Services

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Stone & Youngberg, a leading financial services firm and the nation’s top underwriter of California and Arizona municipal bonds over the past five years¹, announced that Paul R. Touchstone, CFA, has recently been promoted to senior investment strategist and portfolio manager for the firm’s Private Client Group.

Touchstone’s background includes international portfolio management, global macro-economic analysis, fixed income, currency, and alternative investment strategies. Prior to joining Stone & Youngberg in 2009, he was the vice president and portfolio manager for the First Bank Wealth Management Group in San Francisco, California, where he was responsible for advising high-net worth individuals and managing their investment portfolios. Touchstone also served on First Bank’s investment committee, responsible for $3 billion in assets under management. Before that, he was director of operations and international equity analyst for Schroeder Capital Management, a registered investment advisor in Lafayette, California specializing in global equity portfolio management.

Mr. Touchstone holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business with a minor in computer science from Western State College of Colorado.
